Maybe American, though nothing about it seems familiar. I think it's more likely to be German.

I'd lean towards continental on this one. The combination of the lip and color...

If it was in a US auction they would almost certainly say "likely a New England piece" but you've got to take that with a grain of salt. A tough call on this one and likely would need closer inspection by a real expert.
