This has been consigned to our next auction (AAA7) and we were wondering if it could be American?

I'd lean towards continental on this one. The combination of the lip and color...

Nice old piece though.

If it was in a US auction they would almost certainly say "likely a New England piece" but you've got to take that with a grain of salt. A tough call on this one and likely would need closer inspection by a real expert.
