I came across a Misprint bottle in my Grandmas old collection. After I put it up on ebay and got a bid right away, I became curious about what price can usually be expected from a Misprint. This one is a Lydia Pinkham vegetable compound bottle and the N is backwards. In doing research I found that the regular bottles have been being sold for 10.00 or less so my question is, would the price change much for a misprint in a bottle that have a low value in the first place? I guess I will know when the auction ends but I was curious for future reference what you can expect with misprints.

Certainly makes it more desirable for a specialist...there are some Lydia Pinkham collectors out there. Typically it doesn't increase the price massively...for a bottle like this maybe 2-3 times the value of a standard one.

Thank you for taking the time to answer the question. I appreciate any and all info the members here contribute. It also jeeps so when I am deciding if I put them back into my collection or sell them.

You would think that it would be a major price increaser, but typically it's not. Most notable exception is the reverse hinge safe on the Warner's Safe bottles, which can turn a $10 bottle into a $300 bottle.
