This is a bottle i recently purchased for $2!!! I believe there might be an error as it is missing the word "of" on the bottle. Does anyone know if it is in fact an error?

No it's not an error, that's a pretty common variation on these bottles. That sort of thing would be a pretty difficult error to make, embossing errors usually involve backwards letters or misspelled words.
