Square bottle Chattanooga?

I would like help identifying this bottle and what it was for.

I'm really guessing here but I would say it's a 1890 - 1910 liquor bottle. Most "Bulge Neck" bottle seem to fit that category.

I agree with Mr. Jim. It has the same shape as the larger, amber Mount Vernon Pure Rye Whiskey bottles.

I have also seen some barbers bottles that really resemble your bottle. Especially the lip.
