Here is an item made during the " Federal law forbids the reuse of this bottle" period , 1930-1960"s, it is in a local junk store. Is it a possible whiskey and rice liquor? I like that one, I don't remember ever seeing that kind of Chinese liquor bottle in Canada, despite the tiger whiskeys being common. This page http://www.chinesecol.com/treasure11.html has a picture of a labeled one and states that it held mui kwa lu, which as far as I can find from Googling is a variety of baijiu with rose essence.

The back side photo did not post, said file was corrupted. I will try a crop or photo shop it, ,as it looks fine to me, so maybe it will upload, because it has a cool looking logo on that side. Thanks for the info, CanadianBottles, I enjoy your posts!
