Four-lobed bottle

Dug this unusually shaped unembossed bottle from a deep foundation excavation today. Spent the last hour on Google searching for anything similar but came up empty. It came from the lower levels of a foundation dig that has yielded finds from as far back as the 1860s but also as new as the 1940s. Any help with an I.D. is appreciated. Size is abt 9" tall, abt 3" across at the base. See link below for image:

Not my area of collecting but I'd also say sauce bottle. Anyone got the "sauce bible" (Zumwalt right?) who can confirm?
