Figural Bitters bottle?

Hi;

don't have a clue about this bottle, but was told that it was a bitters bottle by the digger that I got it from. Just about 13" tall, and about 4" in diameter at the base.

you have an open p . there on the bottom . its European most likely French or Spanish .mid to late 19th century. decanter for win or sherry.

I agree. This looks like a figural bottle which might be credited to "LeGras" (sp,?
), a prominent French bottle-maker. I think the pontil scar is a typical French "disc pontil."
