A week ago I found a small dump that I would say is more of the size of a trash pit but a little bigger and deeper, but not like a privy I was walking around and found it it the corner of 2 rock walls I scratched around and pulled out a broken J.H. Blackler Co. soda from Westerly RI. The after a couple days I came back to the spot and dug out a medicine dose cup that says Softex on the base, a ACL Mission soda from Bronx, NY with barely any ACL , and a blank milk (but my first whole milk). I found some broken stoneware jug pieces as well as very old broken top plus lots of broken ACL NEHI bottles and 1800s shards. It ranges from the 1800s to the late 1950s. Here is some pictures of some of the finds:
Two Questions: What does the letter on the neck of the Mission bottle mean? Should I go back to dig (I probably will)?
