Hi!
i was wondering if anyone knew if the upside-down stamping on my bottle was an error. all the examples i found online were right side up.
thanks, Noah

It is an error, but an error on a bottle that probably had minimal quality control so that doesn't necessarily make it any more valuable than a regular one unfortunately. I'm guessing the mistake was an easy one to make.

stamps were stuck on any way the potter felt like . I've seen them upside down , in the front and back . they were put out by the thousands. Holland , and Germany put out most . as they still do today.
