another find from an antique store , came across this bottle and hadn't seen one before and store didn't want much for it . though it was interesting and recalled seeing a listing in the book a for an acme bottle from Toronto .
there is a listing in book for Acme carbonated beverages 1937-39 and Acme Carbonated water co 1940-1952 , I though it looked a bit older than the 40's but that seems to be when it was used based on the book .
don't recall ever seeing this bottle before , its a plain 7 oz clear bottle with no markings but company name is huge in fancy lettering " acme carbonated water company "
I couldn't really find any other info on the company or bottle online or in other books . I did read that the name " acme " was commonly used by many businesses as a trick to appear first in telephone book listings , which was why acme was used so much on different things
