recently found this milk jug when I was on a hike on this trail which could be described as the middle of nowhere .
found 2 milk jugs this one and a plain clear larger jug , along the trail , its like they had been left there or sand eroded . but I suspect they were found somewhere else and left there .
perhaps there was some sort of hunt camp dump nearby or someone hunting left them there in the woods at some point , that's about only reason people went that far down that trail . but I wasn't able to find a nearby dump as it was very muddy/wet out from rain .
the jug is far away from home , says its from Toledo/Mansfield Ohio .
front says - Page's kleen-maid ( top embossed ) , Page's 'demanded for its quality " ( middle acl ) and the Page Dairy co Toledo Mansfield Ohio (bottom )
back says - page's "demanded for its quality " ( acl ) and One Pint liquid , registered sealed BB 48
bottom - Duraglas and an 18 / 46 marking
does the 48/46 mean its from the 40's ? I see online this dairy lasted into the early 70's and someone maintains a website about it .
