Dr. D. B. Hand's Remedies for Children, including a Colic Cure. I see the company as far back as 1885 and as new as 1913. Google books turns up a match for the words in 1894. F.D.A., I'd assume, killed 'cure' from the label in 1906-1907.

Bought in a lot of bottles on 'eBay". I wanted only this one. LOL.

I would have guessed the bottle was pre 1906 due to no reference to the FDA. I thought all meds after then had the "manufactured in accordance with the Pure Food and Drug Act of..." language.

nhpharm, thank you. Though it's label isn't pristine, I liked it too.

Saratogadriver, yes. I think the same image was used from the 1880s (though modified some) till after 1906. The only real difference is that the products no longer 'cured' after 1906-1907, when the law was coming into effect. The claim on the label was word-for-word the same as in a 1894 book.
