I found this snail the other day while riding my bike. Anyone know more about it? How can I get those brown stains off of it? They are on the outside.

it might just be rust , some dollar stores sell a rust remover type cleaner , I think its in a green bottle , the windex in background isn't going to get it off

It was in the trash at an abandoned house. It has seams. There is a seam along the base and along the back. Here's a pic, looking at it's "butt":
