don't really know anything about it , I'd imagine there was a lot of bottlers in Philadelphia , bottle seems typical of the period , I always enjoy finding bottles I have never seen before , half the fun is trying to research them

RCO - Thanks. I've enlisted the help of a local friend whose dad grew up on Rising Sun Ave. He remembers there being a soda bottler at 11th & Rising Sun. Also, since my lsat post I checked the Industry Directory of the Commonwealth of PA, and the 1950 & 1951 editions list a Rising Sun Bottling Co. owned by Nicola DiCroce at 3424 N. 11th St. So it seems to have been a short-lived storefront operation.
