Does anyone have any info on Cub Beer? All I've found is this:

http://brucemobley.com/beerbottlelibrary/sc/columbia/cub.htm

I found the bottles in the photos in the Columbia, SC area. "Columbia, SC" and "O W HARTNESS & SONS" embossed on heel and "Cub Beer" cursive embossed label with "Tax paid at rate prescribed by internal revenue law" underneath. 1933-1942 era bottle. Interesting about Hartness. Actually the "Tax paid at rate prescribed by internal revenue law" was a requirement for beer bottles between 1933 and 1942 per the Internal Revenue Tax Paid (IRTP) law.

The "Internal Revenue Tax Paid" Statement lasted until March 30th 1950. LEON.

Thanks for the correction. Good caution on rushed research.
