This had belonged to a relative that was born around 1880. She had stated that her family had this when she was a child, so I’m thinking pre 1900? It is 4 1/2” tall. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Year? Value?
It appears to be a jasperware slip over the main body, which is interesting to see on a flask as that was usually reserved for fine pottery (and in green, too, instead of the most common blue). I'm afraid I cannot say more than that, as jasperware has been produced continuously for over 200 years.
i doubt its pre 1900 , but I really don't know that much about it . know that Hudson bay company has been producing things for some time . it was a major store in Canada for a number of years
