I picked up this bottle the other day. I live in Memphis and the blue script on this really caught my eye. Only bottle matching this description is from a post on this site back in 2006!
From my minimal base of knowledge, I can tell you that on the heel of the bottle is an L-G marking it as a piece made by the Liberty Glass Co. from OK. On the base is a "37" indicating that the bottle is from 1937. Across the top, the "O.T./O.J. Smith Jersey Farm is embossed at the top of the bottle and then the info is repeated in the blue on both sides, with the addition of Memphis at the lower part of the bottle.
It is a quart bottle and I am curious to know if it is really from Memphis (as I cannot find Mr. Smith or Jersey Farm in Memphis between 1935-40.
Am curious to know if anyone has an idea of : is this bottle unusual and or what kind of value does it have....thanks!!
