Bought a handful of bottles from a local excavator. Including 3 ACLs.

Right: Acme Beverages 12oz (1960s?)

Those are in decent shape for being dug up. I collect Patio's & 7up's. Nice!

I remember reading there was "acme " named bottlers all over the place , it was a trick to appear first in telephone listings which had started to become important in 40's and 50's , but have no idea how common or rare yours is


they could likely be cleaned up a bit , but unless the 7 up cleans up nicer its likely not worth much . there was a couple 7 up's like that found in the ditches here when they were dug a couple years ago but they both got broken before I could find them

Yeah I can do more to clean them. Pic was taken just after a gentle wash. Wanted to see how the paint would hold up. The ACME has a South Philly address on the label.
