Hello,

This is my second post so I am not sure what information is needed here. We were walking by an old pond and found an old Pepsi bottle lying in a old log. The bottle has 4 identifying marks on the bottom. the Left number is 73, the top number is 103, the right number is 8, and the bottom mark is a M with a hexagon around it. We live in Michigan. Can anyone point me to a site where I can identify this bottle?

thanks in advance

Welcome Detroit.
Kind of exciting to find your first bottles. These are not super old by antique bottle standards. My guess is that the 73 is the year on this one and 77 the year on the other. Here's some info about the company that made it....

M in a hexagon………Metro Glass Bottle Company, Jersey City, New Jersey. Mark used c.1949-c.1981. That is from a website called Glass Bottle Marks.

Good luck on your continued quest for cool old bottles!
