Appears to be a label added to a dug bottle

As Trog says, this appears to be a 'late marriage'!!
The label is completely the wrong shape for the bottle.
I would suggest there has been an attempt to artificially age the label but it does not match the excessive wear on the bottle.
The labels are readily available very cheaply on ebay and it would appear the one stuck to the bottle has conveniently
had bottom cut off which would have shown a telephone number as in the example below.
The attempt to make it look as though the bottle has an iron/graphite pontil I'm afraid also looks completely wrong.
This all from what appears to be an experience ebay bottle seller.
