Got skunked at my first few digs this morning, so this afternoon I just decided to see what I could find in alleys, vacant lots, and the berms of construction sites. Basically surface hunting with a little scratching here and there. Here's what I found...

Two milk pints. Dolfinger (left) and Scott-Powell (right). Am guessing c. 1940. Let me know if I'm close.

Found this little bottle in a bucket of construction debris. Embossed "D. Maurer & Sons." Maurer was a maker of insecticides. Maybe ant killer? I'm guessing circa 1890.

And I found this—in an alley.

I don't know a thing about pressed glass vs. cut glass vs. Walmart. But I did some Googling, and it looks like Anchor Hocking, Wexford, from maybe 1980. lol.

Thanks.
