Very nice find. I was thinking mid-1800s too. Tod's site places it a tad later. Still an oldie and a goodie.
It does say on it One US Pint. So i would think they would have to put the federal warning on it if it was during that time period.
I know there are a few east Hampton bottles out there (milks and medicine) and I know Portland CT has some too. Portland has a few blob sodas as well.

It's a Hiram Walker & Sons whiskey bottle from Canada. I'm not sure how long they were made like this, but I'm guessing it's from the 1930's-40's. I dug one like it in a 1940's dump.
It doesn’t have the “federal law forbids” on it so I’m hoping it’s before that rather than after.
