Found this Wawa pint today. Seems to have the Wawa shield inside a slug plate. Any PA/NJ milk collectors know when Wawa used this style?
Bad joke warning . . .
I recommend that you find a human to date.
Okay. Not very funny.
I know nothing about this bottle or company. My guess is 1920s or 30s based on how it looks compared to what I find here. Wawa is a weird name.
If you would like more info go to history (before 1960)...
Here is the link- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wawa_(company)
This was probably a 1920s or early 30s bottle. I like the shield embossing

Anybody recognize this one? I'd appreciate some help on the year, too. I recently found a large number of bottles in the same area, and they ranged from around 1910 to the 1970's.
RCO thanks for posting that one! I have not seen it before, I was unaware Blackwoods Beverages had a distibutionship in Yorkton....usually one associates Blackwoods with Winnipeg.
Yup same guy, friendly enough...I had contacted him at the beginning of September and told him I'd take the bottle, kept sending him polite reminders.
Oh well..lol, onto the next :)
Hey congrats on the bottle!...very interesting indeed.
I remember those bottles! Used to drink pop from the "stubbies" as a kid in the 70's. Phased them out in the 80's here as they went to plastic bottles. Haven't seen one of these in 30 years and I do...
I'd pay $20 for it. LEON.
had previously mentioned the existence of a 7 Up bottle from Yorkton Saskatchewan , that I had seen at an antique mall in southern Ontario . well its still there but I decided to snap a couple...
