Out of all the items at an antique store's liquidation auction, this is what I most wanted.

Rhinehart's Vegetable and Cathartic Liver Pills. The Rhinehart Medicine Co., Manufacturing Druggists, Troy, Ohio, Proprietary Specialties.

I find references to their pills from 1879 to 1911, but I don't see any bottles or boxes online.

A small crate. Labeled on two sides, stenciled on the other two. No lid (it would have slid in). I'm guessing later 1890s to 1900s. I greatly like it.

Very cool-love it. I am a sucker for old crates...have quite a collection of them.
