Hey, all!
I haven't posted in a while but still actively collect local bottles. Being north of the pond (Lake Erie) I don't see or know a lot about American bottles. I mostly collect Ontario bottles local to my area. I found this piece at an antique store in Ontario today and thought it looked nice enough to pick up.
It's a pint beer with an attic mint lightning/wire bail closure. Embossed in an arc within a circular slug plate on the front is:
B.A. EARL
ALLEGHENY PA
And on the bottle it's marked AGWL, apparently for the American Glass Works.
It's BIM and definitely looks cool.
Can't find anything on this bottle in an amber colour like this one. Has anyone seen one before?
