Lincoln's Catarrh Snuff Brunswick Maine Bottle

After buying this bottle from a dollar box of bottles I decided to do some research. Specifically trying to find out where it was made. Using Ancestry.com I searched the directory catalogue and found success also found the original patent.

Nathaniel C Lincoln a shipmaster from Brunswick Maine who I am assuming had easy access to a good shipping network to sell his product patented his Catarrh snuff in 1866. His ad in the Maine business directory has him still selling it until at least 1871. Smooth base bottle only 3 inches tall.
