    Schweppes Golden Ginger Ale

A customer dropped by my office yesterday, proudly presented a few pop bottles he wanted me to have for my collection. One of these bottles is a clear Schweppes Golden Ginger Ale bottle. I have only ever seen Schweppes Ginger Ale in a green bottle. I have a couple Schweppes Tonic Water in clear but never seen this one.
Looks like this bottle is Domglass and likely 1979.

Cool! I've never seen one like that either. I've got some earlier ACL versions and I see the paper label ones from time to time, but never seen one like this at all.

I've never seen one before either , its likely from Quebec or New Brunswick as it has French on the bottle , money back bottle is in French and English , unless by 79 they had started to make most bottles bilingual by then and maybe it could be from Ontario ?

but its 100% Canadian as its in ML and has French , wouldn't of done that in the UK or US

The law mandating bilingual packaging was passed in 1974, so by 1979 all Canadian bottles would be bilingual. It's interesting that it doesn't have the contents listed in imperial units as well, since metrification of packaging had only been going on for 3 years at that point.

Cool bottle!.. CC I have several cans that date from 1978 and they have mls. only.
    1979 seems to make sense.
