noticed this milk jug on ebay , though it was interesting enough to share . its for " Hudson Bay Dairy "
I'm left very confused is it connected to the chain of Hudson Bay stores which operated in Canada ? also appears to have been a dairy in Hudson Bay Saskatchewan although that town is not on Hudson bay
or was there actually a dairy in one of the towns along Hudson bay in Ontario and this is where the jug was from ? I have no idea but its definitely interesting
Very nice. I'll be on the lookout.
Cool! I've never seen that one. Must not have been around for very long at all if it's that rare. I'll have to take a closer look at the Coke NDNRs I come across, I usually don't pay them much...
Iím still looking :)
Well I've known for a long time the USA NDNR Coke has a bottle in the background on the main field front and back, I have one and it's a taller slender style dated 1966.
Now I just aquired this...
Oh excellent!...makes me wonder just how many towns Blackwoods was set up in!
That is a nice bottle you have. I know it's going against the grain on this site, but I enjoy soda bottles from that era because they usually are embossed.
As BottleDragon said, look for hillsides. I noticed that people would dump over hills to "hide" all the garbage so that people don't notice as well. Out of sight out of mind I suppose. Might be able...
