Up arrow North 1 oz dark blue poison?

Has anyone seen one of these? Picked it up at an antique store but had no info. Tooled top looks black unless you hold it to the light. Any thoughts? I'm thinking something you didn't want to drink.

These type of bottles are of British origin and are generically known as 'Admiralty Poisons'.
The 'broad arrow' mark indicates government or military property.
