Dug this Roorbach up in Paterson nj i am thinking it is pretty rare because i cant find any info on it anywhere anybody have a clue thanks in advance

it's called a gravity stopper . it works like a code . it is not common . and may have been made for a short time . Hutchison stoppers were more popular . I have seen this kind of stopper on some Chicago and Portland sodas . 1880s
