I've been a member for 7 years, but I've only viewed the website until this post. I'm hoping someone has seen these type of flasks somewhere before. They belong to a friend of mine who's father found them semi-buried in the corner of a Civil War era barn in Pennsylvania in the 1940's. He has quite a few of them and they are all the same with the exception of the mouth, some being flared and some straight. They do not appear to be sheared. They are, what I call, "wine bottle green" in color and are all embossed "1928". The pontil looks phony. I'd love some info on them, as he is convinced that they are antique, but I don't believe so. The name Clevenger Brothers has been suggested as the maker. What do you think?

That's a new one on me. Can't say that I've ever seen one in my 44 years of collecting. I hope that more knowledgeable minds can offer some insight here. I wouldn't hesitate to email pics to Glassworks Auctions, Heckler, and American Glass Gallery. All, I believe, will be glad to tell you what they can.

It has the look of something like Wheaton, fairly modern, but I've not seen it before.
