    Unusual bottle

I found this in a excavation at California street, on the San Francisco waterfront, 1978. Never could get a positive ID. Any help is appreciated. My first thoughts are ‘Peppersauce bottle. But WHO?

Cologne, maybe? Nice and one that I've never seen. Hard for me to tell but is it pontiled?

Yes, it has a clean pontile scar. also 5 'ribs' on the front and a smooth back.

    Definitely a sauce bottle.
Very unique design, similar to many of European design.
Telling who may have used it will be next to impossible unless you can locate a labeled example.
