anyone have any info on this 1950-60’s, ACL bottle and cap. An old post says Bimbo glass figurines date to 1920-30’s ,and was the sidekick of Betty Boop. I don't believe this bottle has that connection. If it was a USA brand, it moved to Mexico sometime later.
I must have activated the political incorrect filter with the word Bimbo, lol. System totally shut me out for a bit. Any how here’s a couple closeups of the bottle.
After searching , I found a couple caps, on ebay priced at $5 each, including shipping. The trademark looks alot like the "hey boo boo" bear of cartoon fame.

"The brand's name BIMBO (pronounce Beembo), which is also the name of the bear character. BIMBO is derived from the Italian word bambino, meaning little boy. Grupo Bimbo is Mexico's largest food corporation and a multinational baking giant that owns Stroehmann, Arnold, Freihofer's, and Brownberry bread; Boboli pizza; Thomas' English Muffins; and Entenmann's cakes. It opened its first Mexican plant in 1945 and started exporting and distributing its leading products into California and Texas in 1984. This was the brand which purchased Hostess Products a few years back.
