A friend picked up a hoard of Coca Cola Commemorative bottles and some wooden cases over the weekend and gave to me. Many are honouring the closing of Toronto's Maple Leaf Gardens, First game at the new Air Canada Centre. Others are the 1999 Santa 6 packs while others are the plain bottles. I assumed all the bottles were likely 1999 origin as this is when the commemoratives are from. However the marking on a number of the plain Coke bottles have marking suggesting they were refillable, older bottles. By looking at the bottom of the plain Coke bottles I would guess they are 1980 and 1981 bottles. Cap would suggest they were refilled in 1999.
Can anyone confirm or reject my theory.
I have no idea what I can do with so many of the commemorative bottles that I believe hold little value but I would be intrigued by the plain if they are 1980/81 refills.

Note: The plain Coke bottles have a variety of date marks. Bottle volume varies with the date.
The two above are 6.5fl oz 184ml
Others are marked with 6, 8 left of the Dominion Glass mark and they are 200ml not imperial measure.
The commemorative bottles are 8oz 237ml with no markings on bottle bottom.

I used to find those white acl coke's swimming all the time , pretty sure there from the 60's and not overly valuable

actually think the wooden crates were the best find , the Woodstock one has a neat look to it , have seen there bottles before but not a crate

RCO, I appreciate the feed back. Not sure what to do with the bottles, they are very, very common.
I really like the Woodlond Beverage case, it's stamped 1966. I have a couple versions of their bottle too. They are nice bottles. I like the short side Coke case too, just a nice look.
