I have not had the most exciting year scuba diving as work and life seem to have a hold on me. Why couldn't I have won mega millions?
I have found some nice shards and checked out areas I always had on my radar and found just enough to want to try them again. This past Sunday I decided to go back to one of my favorite areas for bottles/flounder/ and oysters not always in that order. No boats no fishermen trying to hook me and a light steady rain is breaking out. Viz looks great tide still coming in conditions perfect.
This area usually has tons of copper, brass, and lead weights so as I was looking I was able to find quite a bit. It never ceases to amaze me how the current can unearth just a speck of a hidden buried bottle or completely unearth and un-bury a bottle. These torpedoes I found for example were not there in February. There is a slim chance any one of these torpedoes could have been something super rare, probably better odds than winning mega millions. I also found a headless lead toy soldier, canning jars, and an almond water bottle.
