    Stove polish or Whiskey ???

I bought this bottle at a antique store loved the crudeness of it and that shape . It is called week‘s snowflake blue . Not sure what it was loved the look of it paid 25.00 not sure if bad or good. Either way I like it would just like to know what it was. The mold line stops right before the lip of the top.

    Might 'blue' be a bluing?

I think Spirit Bear is on the money with his answer, a laundry bluing fluid for whitening fabrics during washing.
One of these bottles was the subject of a previous thread.

Giving it to you straight...my dad collected bluing bottles to go with his washboard collection and there is very little demand for them. I never paid more than $5 for one and I would say yours is worth about that.
