Purple color Onion Shape bottle with glass pineapple seal

Hello, I would appreciate any thoughts or comments on this old bottle , I bought in Maryland. I thought it was quite unique . Thank you advance

Looks like a modern piece unfortunately. I've never seen anything quite like it though, maybe a glassblower's project.

Definitely not old and an unknown color glass for a bottle of that style and also no base wear.
