Looks like 1890s to 1910s to me. The brown one was likely malt. The green one could have been all sorts of things - beer, mineral water, etc. It's likely European or from somewhere else outside of North America if it's got an applied top.
Yeah looks like there's the remains of a foil covering over the cork, that would be my guess anyway. I sometimes see that sort of residue on those bottles.
Would the green one been imported full or empty? I found the two them in the bottom layer of dump. But the brown one is machine made are they of different time periods? ch
They would've been imported full. It wasn't uncommon for smaller bottlers to reuse them afterwards though, I sometimes see bottles like that with local labels. Are you sure the brown one is machine made? It really looks like a tooled lip to me. Either way, they're probably from the same era. They made bottles like that well into the ABM era.
