My father recently gave me a bottle as a gift. On the front reads " Hahne&Co Broad St Newark NJ. He mentioned several times that He's never seen another one. I did some searching myself and could only find a picture of the bottle. It's a piece of NJ history, additional info is much appreciated.
Here is a wealth of history on Hahne & Co, founded in 1858. Looks like the building on Broad St in Newark was built in 1911, and your bottle probably dates to somewhere around that time, but perhaps as late as the 1930s, give or take. Cool bottle!
Thank You, I plan to email the NJ Historical Society hoping they will have more information. I have several Hahne&Co pieces besides the bottle. I have a small aluminum tray with the Newark building printed on it.
Yeah to my knowledge the only ones which actually had Coca Cola in them were the bottles with the script on them (not counting NDNRs). Flavour bottles like you're talking about exist for a few other...
