Found another 1st. It has a tooled top and bubbles. The inside of the neck has a ridge in it about a 1/2 inch down from the lip never seen that before. Any information and date estimate welcome. It has an 1187 on the bottom Thanks

definitely looks like a liquor flask to me , if your digging up old dumps its fairly common to find those here

Looks 1890-1910 to me. The ridge inside the top acted as a stop of sorts to accept a cork-encased glass stopper.

Thanks for the information. Surely I'll find one some of these days. Would a amber bottle have an amber one?
