I returned to the 1860s farm property that my friend owns to see if I could find older spots. I found a couple spots but none had as much glass as the original spot so I decided to see if I could get more surface finds. Even though the ground was frozen I got some more nice finds and a poison jar with the lid!

Left to Right: Another variant of the Black Rock Beverages (sadly cracked), Bowker's Pyrox Poison Jar w/ glass lid, J.B. Williams Co. Glastonbury, Conn w/ ground lip, and a nice old blown aqua med.

I will return when it gets warmer!

Thanks for reading,

Nice surface finds! I've got the itch bad too, saw some dump signs near an old cellar hole but the ground was frozen so I'll have to wait. That spot you found looks really promising! I hope it produces a lot of bottles.
