Roadside find. ABM crown, American Brewing Co–Phila. Google shows American Brewing Co breweries in lots of cities, so I figure it's common. Even so, any info on time period appreciated.

It definitely looks like pre-prohibition to me. I'd guess 1910s.

If the Gould (SP?) act of 1913 had any effect, I'd say that it dates to the 00's or up to the mid 1910s. The Gould Act required the contents volume to be listed on the packaging of consumable products, such as 20 OZ.

Thanks guys! I knew I'd get some great info.
Spirit Bear —There's no volume embossed on it, so pre-1913.
And UncleBruce's info puts it no earlier than 1897.
Thanks again!

Hey Relic,
Kind of cool that you found it roadside. Maybe go back with a shovel for more?
