I am totally new to the wide world of bottles/glass (and have become obsessed!) I was given a box of old bottles that came from a home built in 1925. I've done some research and determined it has the Owens-Illinois diamond logo. My research led me to believe it was made in 1930 with mold 55. I've just read an article saying those digits were switched in early 50's. Sooo ... is it 1930? or 1950? My other quandry is the OI diamond logo is on bottom with no numbers - just the letter "F" above the logo. I've been unable to find anything explaining the "F."
Any assistance would be much appreciated!
