Hello, found this in a site with mostly 30s and 40s bottles. Doesn't have the "Federal Law Forbids" Language on it. Extremely thin with thick walls. Does anyone know what this might be?

Wow that is thin. I think these 30s era flasks usually held something medicinal although I've never seen one that thin before. My first thought was some sort of pocket flask but I think a pocket flask of that era would be refillable and have a screw top. Maybe an extract bottle? I think I've seen one of these flasks with an extract label on it, and extract bottles were often extremely thin.

Edit: Now I'm quite convinced it's an extract bottle. Here are a couple of similar embossed ones: https://img1.etsystatic.com/023/0/5488389/il_570xN.474657933_kdin.jpg http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTAyNFg3Njg=/z/xNcAAOSwVFlT4v4d/$_35.JPG

Could be a Jamaica ginger flask. I like these patterned flasks, but Jamaica ginger was bottled in a variety of bottles.

5 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 5/8", holds about 1/4 cup if that helps. Thanks again.

Looks like a pocket flask to me. Does the seam go to the top?

The seem does go to the top. Seems like a small volume for a liquor bottle. Also no "Federal Law Forbids.." anywhere.

Federal law forbids mark isn't used on all alcohol, just certain years. It's most likely after 1920 because the seam goes to the top.
