This was one of those beautiful moments where you see a little shine peeking out of the dirt by the creek. You figure it to be a broke and dont get your hopes up. You carefully excavate it and its in one piece with cap still on! Im always amazed at how these fragile things can survive the elements for 50 or 60 years! Amazing! Anybody ID this for me Id appreciate it!

I do love it when what you think is a shard turns out to be whole! In terms of ID, there isn't much to ID here unfortunately, it's a generic post-prohibition whiskey bottle. If the cap doesn't have any logo on it I don't think it can be linked back to a specific brand.

It's a nice colored bottle to put in a window for the sun to shine through.

Probably dates from 1930's - 50's but with no paper label on it with it's name on it would be about impossibly to say exactly what brand of whiskey or liquor it was. As long as it's sentimental to you that's cool & all that matters. Congrats. LEON.

Are there any markings on the base? Sometimes, if there is a glass manufacturer's mark, that can give us at least a range of years during which it might have been produced.
