Hello Everyone,
A newbie to collecting bottles, I live in Wisconsin and collect bottles found along the river and old dump sites. I found this Walker's bottle and have read some of the threads. The one I found appears to have a lead seal? and a partial ceramic top.
Do I remove the top in order to clean the dirt inside or leave it alone in this condition

Hi Steve! Personally I'd leave it and try to clean it as much as possible with the seal still on. I think it's the most interesting thing about that bottle and would be a shame to lose it.
