A Circle A / Dr. Pepper bottle with a St. Louis mark has been on my wish list for a long, long time. This one came up for auction and I had to have it. Has the Owens Illinois Glass Co mark and year of 1939.

for some reason it looks newer than 1939 , maybe the design was ahead of its time

Yep it's a 1939 since there's no period next to it. Looks like the heavy thick type of glass so fits right into that time period. I never knew of this type of Dr. Pepper bottle.
