ID help please?!?

Found this little gem in the river bottom the other day while looking for morels. The unique part of this bottle is the threaded glass stopper. I can’t find any info on this type of bottle anywhere.

That's an interesting one! Those definitely aren't a common find. I think that this was probably a laboratory bottle which held something very corrosive or reactive. Certain chemicals can only be stored in glass because they'll eat through metal or plastic. Usually these chemical bottles have standard ground glass stoppers, so I'm not sure whether or not the threaded stopper served a particular purpose.

I've seen a few different Bottles with internal Threads like that. Not too Common in my opinion. LEON.
