Purchased this bottle from a local who found it in the Annapolis river in nova Scotia Canada. Have been unable to find anything similar on the web so far. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Can't be of any help, but that's one cool rooster!
Thank you. Someone had said to me it might be a Japanese beer bottle?
Could be Japanese, no idea why it would end up in Nova Scotia though. It's not one I remember seeing on the West Coast and there were a lot of Asian beer bottles there.
Definitely a nice bottle.
David Bole founded The Bole Drug Company in 1898 so the Winnipeg bottle is likely between 1898 and 1905. After 1905, David Bole founded the National Drug and Chemical Company of Canada.
Some nice stuff, Congrats. LEON.
I finally met a great guy who is a fellow fruit jar collector in Winnipeg. Extremely knowledgeable in Canadian Jars. He provided me with a few new jars I didn’t have like “New Gem” and Mason Fruit...
Realized I hadn't added to this post for a while. Been out digging quite a lot the last few months and found a few treasures to add to my collection. If anyone knows what the item with the Chinese...
Use the wax but carefully. I've seen the results of some ugly wax jobs on Ebay.
Selling in lots on Ebay would probably make them sell quicker. Shipping is so expensive now, would be more worth it for a buyer to get more than one bottle at a time.
Looks like a 1950's era perfume bottle.
