Got a box of odds and ends today, but mostly common junk...lol
So I ended up with a 58 Pepsi..that last year for that bottle style, a 53/54 double date code!, and I needed the 54 but never seen one with both years, btw I have the 1953 with just that year alone on it. And the second Pepsi pictured in is very bright red 1956....I kind of like having the odd shade example kicking around.
Got several Sprites to fill my carton too now.
A nice shape 1950 swimsuit girl 7up from Blackwoods- Yorkton Sask was in the mix.
And maybe a couple new years for the Crush's collection, the one with the solid Crush is cool but has a chipped top, I think it was a transition bottle before they went to the flower label.

Pepsi's came up nice...so two 1953/54 date codes, then that bright red 56, and the 58 with the month code of July/Aug... I do know the next year the bottles became the second generation swirl design, mine is dated July/Aug 1959, but now I'm wondering if it was introduced in 58 because there is a year gap between my two bottles.

This is the 1958, 1959 with the funny bell shaped heel, and the following year 1960 they no longer have the bell bottom. Ironically all three of these have the July/August month code!
And in experience from other bottles quite often each bottle came in both styles for the transition year.

Hey yes i did manage to clen my Sprite's..got enough to fill my carton now, all dated 1963 except one 64, pretty common for the most part.
Also got a few of the Crush's done, 1958, 65, and 72... I'm always after variations, many of which are only different on the backs.
One of the better ones was that 7up swimsuit girl, great clean label!.. dated 1950.
The rest I have not cleaned and are just a few common Pachal's from Saskatchewan, a half dozen Suncrest's...none of them I needed, and 7-8 Cokes from the late 60's early 70's...even a few late 80's.
